Vijayawada, Dec. 1 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday quizzed the officials over reports of diarrhoea cases in Tallavalasa village of Santabommali mandal in Srikakulam district.
He directed the officials to conduct house to house surveys to identify the diarrhoea cases and reasons for the spread of disease.
The officials informed the Chief Minister that nine persons were affected with diarrhoea and were admitted to Tekkali government hospital. They apprised the Chief Minister that one person Chinna Rao (70) died of multiple organ dysfunction and heart attack. The officials said that at present they are supplying drinking water through tankers to the village.
