Srikakulam, April 26 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday gave a call to those who have financially become prosperous with the help of government schemes to assist the poor in society and support them to grow strong.
The Chief Minister launched the 'Matchakarula sevalo' (in service of the fishermen) scheme at Budagatlapalem village in Etcherla Assembly segment of Srikakulam district.
Later, addressing the Praja Vedika programme on Zero Poverty-P4, Naidu felt that poverty should be eliminated completely. He said that "We have launched the programme for the uplift of the poor in every way by not only providing government schemes but also by extending assistance through Margadarsi (mentors)."
