Vijayawada, Nov. 8 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced a reward of Rs 2.5 crore and 1,000 square yards residential plot to Women cricket World Cup winning team member Shree Charani. Moreover, the Chief Minister also offered her 'Group-I' post.
Shree Charani met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh at the camp office at Undavalli near here on Friday.
Both the Chief Minister and Lokesh, while congratulating her for the achievement, stated that through winning the World Cup the power of Indian women was revealed worldwide.
Shree Charani and former captain of Indian women cricket team Mithali Raj presented a T-shirt signed by players of the Women Cricket team to the Chief Minister.
