Vijayawada, Oct. 19 -- s part of the Deepavali festival bonanza, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today announced the release of one installment of Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees, effective from November 1.
The government will incur an additional Rs 160 crore in monthly expenditure for DA payments. He also announced that one installment of earned leave encashment for the police department would be cleared in two phases of Rs105 crore each.
