Vijayawada, Jan. 6 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu suggested that the Krishna river front in Amaravati capital region should be developed as 'Marina Water Front' to promote tourism.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to call for tenders to develop the river front including construction of jetties, tourism boats, food plazas and landscape works by formulating a master plan for the riverfront development.

Presiding over a Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) meeting held at the secretariat at Amaravati, near here on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said Krishna river front on both sides of the river should be developed as tourism spots.
