Kunool, Oct. 24 -- Inspector General of police, Kunool range, Koya Praveen has said that 41 passengers, including two children, were travelling in the bus and there were drivers of the bus when the accident took place.
He said so far 11 bodies have been taken out from the bus and efforts were on to retrieve the other bodies.
As per the preliminary reports, 20 passengers were charred in the accident. The Kaveri private travel bus completed gutted in the accident.
The IGP told the media that the bus hit a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction and the bike was crushed under the bus. The bike's petrol tank opened and the fuel spilled and caught fire. The flames within minutes engulfed the bus.
