Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), April 19 -- Kakinada District Superintendent of police Garikipati Bindu Madhav on Saturday handed over the mobile phones recovered by the police to the original owners at a function held at the district police office here.
As many 454 mobile phones worth over Rs.80 lakhs successfully recovered by the police all over the district and were presented to the owners after due verification.
The SP said that so far in nine installments, a total of 2554 mobile phones were recovered in the district. He said efforts were being made to recover a few hundred mobile phones more soon.
