Kadapa, Sept. 15 -- YSRCP senior leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Amzath Basha today hailed the Supreme Court verdict on the Waqf Amendment Act 2025.

He said that the YSR Congress Party was welcoming the interim orders of the Supreme Court staying key provisions of the Waqf Amendment Act, 2025. He made it clear that the party would never tolerate any violation of the Constitution or injustice to the Muslim community.

Speaking to the media here, Basha recalled that under YSRCP President and former Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's instructions, the party MPs had voted against the Bill in both Houses of Parliament.
