Kurnool, April 17 -- YSRCP has welcomed the Supreme Court's interim orders on the Waqf Board Amendment Act, 2025, as a step toward justice for Muslims.
Former MLA M.A. Hafeez Khan, addressing the media here on Thursday, expressed confidence in the judiciary, noting that the Chief Justice of India echoed YSRCP's concerns about the Act.
The Supreme Court, responding to YSRCP's petition, questioned non-Muslim inclusion in Waqf Boards and deemed the Act potentially violates fundamental rights.
