Vijayawada, Oct. 31 -- The YSRCP NTR District Doctors Wing today lashed out at what they described as "the continuing delay and neglect" in the release of Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) budget for Community Health Officers (CHOs) working under the National Health Mission (NHM) in Andhra Pradesh.
YSRCP Doctors Wing Chairman Dr Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav, in a statement here, regretted that despite two formal request letters from the Commissioner of Health to the National Health Mission central office in New Delhi, EPF payments have not been restored for over 10,000 Mid-Level Health Providers since April 2024.
