Visakhapatnam, Aug. 1 -- For the first time in the history, Visakhapatnam Port Authority(VPA) has come up with a Novel initiative to organize industrial visit (Port Visit) to school going students under the programme titled "Port Darshan".
The programme aims to educate school children on the activities of Port, its role in Indian Economy, its contribution to the Society at large and its support under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to various communities in and around the Port, the Port said in a release here
The initiative which was the brain child of VPA Chairman, was kicked off on today with the first batch of students from Queens Mary Government Girls High School, I Town area, Visakhapatnam.
