Visakhapatnam, Dec. 15 -- Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) on Monday said it has taken over possession of its Sports Complex and Kalavani A/C Auditorium, located in the Nehru Sports & Cultural Complex at Salagrampuram here, pursuant to termination of the respective lease agreements. The Sports Complex was earlier leased to M/s Vishwanadh Sports & Conventions Pvt. Ltd., while the Kalavani A/C Auditorium was leased to M/s Vishwanadh Avenues (India) Pvt. Ltd.
In view of non-fulfilment of the terms and conditions of the respective lease agreements, termination notices were issued by the port recently, in accordance with the provisions of the lease.
