Vijayawada, Aug. 20 -- Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan directed the Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary and Director General of Police to take steps to further strengthen the forensic ecosystem.
Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan held a video conference with Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K Vijayaand DGP Harish Kumar Gupta from New Delhi today and discussed various key issues including implementation of new criminal laws.
Speaking on the occasion, the Union Home Secretary reiterated the need of strengthening the forensic laboratory system and as part of that, the Chief Secretary and DGP were advised to take appropriate steps to further strengthen the existing forensic science laboratories.
