Tirupati, Oct. 10 -- Two accused in gang rape case were sentenced to life imprisonment by the 8th additional district court here today.
Police said that the 8 th Additional Court sentenced Tiruvalluru Navin Kumar and Kekula Deva to life imprisonment for gangraping a girl at Sullurpet railway station.
The Court also sentenced them to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for committing robbery and imposed a Rs 2,000 fine.
Police said that on February 3, 2019, the victim was speaking with her boyfriend at around 10:30 pm at Sullurpet railway station. The two accused attacked the couple, robbed their valuables and gangraped the girl.
