Anantapur, May 11 -- Three persons were killed and one critically injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a lorry at Pedda Yellampalli village of Nallacheruvu mandal on NH 205 in Sri Satya Sai district on Sunday.
Police said that three deceased and the injured went to Anantapur to take part in the last rites programme of Venugopal's brother.
When they were going back to their native town Kadiri, their car collided with a lorry killing Jayachandra, a retired Assistant Sub-inspector of police, Chalapathi, a retired ASI and Nagendra, a retired lecturer.
