Vijayawada/New Delhi, Aug. 22 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials concerned to take steps to supply the required quantity of urea to the farmers.

The Chief Minister reviewed the availability and supply of fertilizers and pesticides in the state with the officials virtually from New Delhi. He instructed that the administration must ensure that there is no shortage of fertilizers.

Stern action will be taken if anyone creates artificial scarcity or diverts stocks, the Chief Minister warned and ordered the vigilance officials to stay alert and ensure fertilizers are not diverted or sold at higher prices.
