Vijayawada, Aug. 22 -- Andhra Pradesh Government Chief Secretary K Vijayanand has assured of taking all steps to supply the required quantity of urea fertilizer to the farmers. The Chief Secretary held a meeting in the Secretariat at Amaravati, near here on Friday with the officials concerned and reviewed the fertilizer stock, requirement and supply.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary asked the farming community not to worry about availability of urea fertilizers as steps taken to supply. The agriculture officials explained to the Chief Secretary that the fertilizer supplied more quantity to the farmers this season than of the last season.
