Vijayawada, Sept. 2 -- The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) today approved the setting up of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to expedite the construction of various projects in the capital city of Amaravati.
The decision was taken at the 52nd CRDA meeting, presided over by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, at his camp office in Undavalli.
The proposed SPV will oversee the swift execution of major projects, including a Greenfield Airport, Iconic Bridge, Sports City, Riverfront Ropeway, Inner Ring Road, and a Smart Industry hub.
Naidu also instructed officials to include a 'Bio Design Project' under the SPV, with plans to establish a 'Health City' in Amaravati along the lines of the 'Sports City'.
