Vijayawada, Feb. 1 -- SEIL CEO Janmejaya Mahapatra welcomed the union Budget stating that the Budget focused on forward-looking measures for the energy sector.
"The union Budget 2026 presents several forward-looking measures for the energy sector. The emphasis on operationalization of inland waterways in mineral rich areas of Odisha, particularly in Talcher and Angul, is expected to significantly improve coal logistics by reducing transportation costs and enhancing operational efficiency for the power industry," Mahapatra said.
