Kakinada, July 6 -- On the occasion of Tholi Ekadasi festival, a devotee today presented the Goddess Sri Anantha Lakshmi Satyavati Devi of the holy shrine of Annavaram a diamond studded gold necklace worth over Rs 20 lakh.
The devotee couple, Matte Satya Prasad, called on the temple executive officer Veerla Subbarao and presented the necklace to the Goddess in presence of large number of devotees.
The necklace weighing 122 grams of gold and studded with diamonds is estimated to be worth over Rs 20 lakh, temple sources said.
The temple was flooded with devotees who thronged the holy shrine from the nook and corner of the state for having a darshan of the Lord Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana and Goddess Sri Anantha Lakshmi.
