Vijayawada, Oct. 1 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Information and Public Relations K Parthasarathy has said that Rs 114.14 crore worth social security pensions were disbursed to the pensioners on Wednesday in Eluru district.
Minister Parthasarthy, flanked by Eluru district Collector K Vetri Selvi, participated in the pension disbursement programme at Adavinekkalam villages of Agiripalli mandal, near here today.
He personally handed over NTR Bharosa social security pensions to some of the beneficiaries at the village, interacted with them and listened to their grievances. The Minister garlanded the statue of Babu Jagjivan Ram at the village.
