Visakhapatnam, Dec. 30 -- Parliamentary Standing Committees on Defence, Commerce and Railways will be visiting Visakhapatnam district in January, District Collector M. N. Harinder Prasad announced here on Tuesday.
Prasad, who conducted a review meeting with the officials to assess preparedness and finalize arrangements for the visit, stressed the need for seamless coordination between district authorities and concerned Central government departments.
He instructed officials to ensure comprehensive arrangements, including security, logistics and medical facilities, for the visiting Members of Parliament, and cautioned that there should be no lapses during the tour schedules.
