Eluru, Dec. 21 -- Eluru district Collector K Vetri Selvi has said that over 2 lakh children are being administered Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV) from December 21 to 23 across the district.
Collector Vetri Selvi administered polio drops to some children at Phiranguladibba, near here on Sunday and participated in the pulse polio programme. Speaking on the occasion, she made it clear that no polio case has been reported anywhere in the district so far.
The pulse polio programme is being carried out across the district in which a large number of health workers are taking part.
