Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), March 17 -- In response to the state union call, the NTR Vaidya Mithra contract and outsourcing employees have staged a dharna in front of the DMHO's office here on Monday demanding regularisation of their services.

They raised slogans demanding Rs.35,000 as the minimum wage, job safety, retirement benefits, providing of compassionate employment besides payment of Rs.15 lakh ex-gratia to the families of those died in accidents and also due to ill health.

They also demanded sanctioning of service scales based on seniority.
