Vijayawada, Dec. 22 -- The 87th national senior badminton championship 2025 began in the Chennupati Ramakotaiah indoor stadium here on Monday.
Vijayawada MP Keshineni Shivanath, flanked by MLA Gadde Rammohan inaugurated the national senior badminton championship 2025 which will be held from January 22 to 28.
Andhra Pradesh State Badminton Association is organizing the badminton championship.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Kesineni Shivanath announced that Sports University would be established in the capital region Amaravti.
The MP appreciated the AP badminton association for organizing the national badminton championship and the municipal corporation for making all required arrangements for the sports event.
