Kakinada, July 27 -- Rich tributes were paid to the memory of late APJ Abdul Kalam, former president of India, by several speakers at a function held here today to mark his death anniversary.
Ex-serviceman S Srinagesh while paying homage to Abdul Kalam said the Missile man was a multi faceted genius who played a key role in Pokhran atomic test .
He said Kalam was a great scientist, a mentor, a philosopher and a great patriot and the country's youth should emulate him and strive for building a strong India.
Adabala Rathna Prasad, who chaired the function, described Kalam as the Peoples president . UNI XC KNR SSP
