Vijayawada, Nov. 13 -- In a shocking incident, a man hacked to death his wife in broad daylight and full public glare in front of VIMS hospital at Suryaraopet here in the heart of the city on Thursday.
Police said that the accused Vijay married the deceased Saraswati (29) three years ago. The accused Vijay was working as a technician in an operation theatre in a private hospital while the deceased Saraswati was working as a nurse in a private hospital.
When the deceased came out of the hospital, her husband Vijay, who was waiting in front of the hospital with a sword, hacked her to death. After killing her, he stood beside her body till the police came and arrested him.
