Kakinada (Andhra), April 20 -- District agricultural officer (AO) N Vijayakumar has said the Andhra government will supply Kisan drones to Rythu Groups through the agricultural department on 80 percent subsidy.
In a statement here on Sunday, he said the state government gave 42 drones as target for Kakinada district, and already 42 Rythu groups were formed.
"For each Rythu group one drone pilot was identified and due training was given. Already 25 Drone pilots have completed their training. Drones will be helpful in reducing the shortage of workers (coolies) and also in carrying out more spraying operations," he said.
