Nandyala, Sept. 8 -- An intermediate student committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan in his hostel room at Dhone town of Andhra Pradesh today, police sources said.
Police said that the deceased student Shyam Sunday (16) was studying intermediate first year. He was staying in the BC welfare hostel.
He committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling fan with a telephone wire. The police registered a case and shifted the body to the GGH for postmortem.
Meanwhile, Minister for BC Welfare S Saritha expressed shock and grief over the suicide of an intermediate student in the hostel room. She conveyed her sympathies to the parents of the deceased boy and assured of support.
