Rayachoti, Sept. 20 -- Heavy downpour that occurred on the night of Friday took four lives in Rayachoti in Annamayya district. Transport Minister M Prasad Reddy visited the bereaved families and handed over ex gratia.
Heavy downpour lashed Rayachoti town over two hours on the night of Friday causing flash floods, killing four people.
According to the police, a school auto rickshaw in which six students were going home, got struck in a drain at Nalugu Kulayala street. One of the students Yamani (7) slipped away in the flash flood while the passers-by rescued the other five students.
