AP: Government's failure puts AP into health crisis: YSRCP alleges

Vijayawada, Oct. 13 -- The Opposition YSRCP's Doctor's Wing has held the Andhra Pradesh Government responsible for the health crisis which prevailed in the State.

YSRCP Doctors Wing Chairman Dr.Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav lashed out at the government's ineptness in tackling the Primary Health Centre (PHC) doctors' strike resulting in widespread suffering for ordinary citizens, especially the poorest and most vulnerable.

"The administration's repeated delays and excuses have forced thousands of doctors to protest in the streets, while nearly one lakh patients each day have been denied basic healthcare at deserted PHCs across Andhra Pradesh," Dr. Radhakrishna Yadav lamented.
