Kakinada, Feb. 1 -- The Union of AP Contract Medical employees, security guards and workers at its meeting here on Saturday unanimously demanded the government to hike the minimum wage of Security Guards working in Government General Hospitals to Rs 26,000 per month considering the rise in prices.
In a resolution, it also demanded the regularization of the services of security guards and sanitation workers.
The union further demanded the implementation of labour laws and immediate clearance of PF arrears besides issuing of identity guards and ESIC health cards .
In another resolution, the Union demanded the GGH development committee to provide a better parking facility.
