Kakinada, July 24 -- The Nagara Ganesh Utsav Samithi has appealed to the state government to extend financial assistance of Rs. 1 lakh to the Hindu pilgrims visiting Kailash Manasarovar on the lines provided to Muslim minorities for the Haj pilgrimage.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu , Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and the Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, the Samithi recalled that the Yogi Adityanath Government in Utter Pradesh has already announced Rs.1 lakh aid to Hindu devotees for the pilgrimage to Mount Kailash.

The Samithi also requested the government to provide free electricity to the Vinayaka Chaviti Pandals on the lines of Telangana government which gave free supply to Ganesh ...
