Kakinada , Dec. 21 -- Glowing tributes were paid to the memory of former Prime Minister and BJP leader Atal Behari Vajpayee at a function held at the Raja tank here on Sunday in connection with the statesman's statue installation.
The BJP state president PV Madhav who unveiled the statue, described Vajpayee as a great patriot, statesman and a doyen of politics .He recalled the country's all round development during Vajpayee's regime and the Pokhran test that got India a place among nuclear power nations. Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan was among those present with his party cadres.
