Kakinada, June 4 -- Anganwadis owing allegiance to CITU affiliate AP Anganawadi workers and helpers union staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Wednesday demanding regularisation of the services of 229 Anganwadis who were recruited as conditional Appointees during 2013 in combined East Godavari district.
Anganwadis union state president G Babyrani and CITU district treasurer Malaka Ramana alleged that before giving appointment they were not informed that it was a conditional appointment but after 13 years they were being removed.
