Kakinada, Dec. 18 -- The CPI staged a dharna in front of the Government General Hospital here on Thursday opposing privatization of the new government medical colleges and demanding withdrawal of an order that empowers establishment of government medical colleges under public private participation(PPP) mode.
Addressing the dharna CPI state secretariat member Thatipaka Madhu alleged that before elections, state minister Nara Lokesh alleged that Jaganmohanreddy was selling medical seats. "But after coming to power, the same Lokesh is selling away medical colleges," he said.
