Amalapuram, Sept. 30 -- A couple was killed and two others were injured when firecrackers exploded at Vilasa village of Ainavilli mandal in Konaseema district on Tuesday.
P Gannavaram Circle Inspector Bhimaraju said the deceased couple, Kancharla Srinivas (55) and his wife Sita Mahalakshmi (50), were making firecrackers at the backyard of their house to supply to the traders for the Diwali festival. The firecrackers exploded suddenly, killing the couple.
