Vijayawada, Sept. 16 -- Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu today announced that the Centre has allocated 41,170 metric tonnes of urea additionally to Andhra Pradesh through various ports. The Agriculture Minister assured that this allocation would greatly benefit farmers, ensuring that there would be no shortage of fertilizers.

He made it clear that the state already has sufficient urea stocks and farmers need not worry. Atchannaidu also expressed gratitude to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for continuously pursuing the Centre to secure higher allocations of urea for the state.
