Kakinada, June 30 -- The central trade unions at their joint meeting at Valasapakala here today have reiterated their demand for payment of Rs.26,000 as the minimum wage for workers.

They were also firm on their demand for scrapping four labour codes that are anti-labour.

CITU Kakinada rural mandal secretary T. Raja who presided, has stressed the need for joining the Nationwide strike scheduled for July 9.
