Vijayawada, Feb. 1 -- YSRCP leader and former finance minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy has urged the Chandrababu Naidu government to implement welfare schemes efficiently using the budgetary allocations.
Responding to the union Budget on Sunday, Buggana Reddy said various Central schemes are not being properly mplemented. Some schemes were used only to secure more funds which were diverted and this has been the practice of the state government, he alleged.
"During the previous year, under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the State has raised Rs 12,000 crore in loans while the national figure is Rs 17,000 crore, and yet the fruits of the scheme are not seen in the State," he claimed.
