Tirupati, July 14 -- The Anivara Asthanam festival will be observed with religious fervor at TTD run Govindaraja Swamy Temple and Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Wednesday.
Anivara Asthanam, an annual budget fete traditionally conducted on the last day of the Tamil month Ani, marks the ceremonial offering of accounts.
Historically, it was the day when Mahants assumed administrative responsibilities, and annual income expenditure accounts began from this day.
However, with the formation of the TTD Trust Board, the fiscal year was aligned to April-March.
The Asthanam will be conducted between 5.30 PM and 6.30 PM at the Bangaru Vakili with the processional deities of Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi.
