AP: Akshaya Patra kitchen to provide midday meals to 25k school students being constructed

Kakinada, June 6 -- The second stage of the Akshaya Patra central kitchen is being constructed for providing midday meals to 25,000 students of government schools, utilising CSR funds to the tune of Rs.18.2 crores.

Rural MLA Pantham Nanaji along with Collector Shan Mohan performed Bhoomi Puja for the Akshaya Patra second stage central kitchen at a function held at the Vakalapudi Varalakshmi nagar in Kakinada rural mandal on Friday. The collector further said the kitchen would be constructed following ISO standards to ensure preparing of food for 25,000 students within three hours.
