Vijayawada, June 6 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh has asserted that the Akhanda Godavari project will help to make the region an attractive tourism hub.
In a statement here on Friday, the Tourism Minister said that Deputy Chief Minister
K Pawan Kalyan and MP D Purandeswari would lay the foundation stone for the Akhanda Godavari tourist project on June 19.
Tourism Minister Durgesh asserted tourism development works would be carried out in Rajahmundry, Dhavaleswaram, Kadiyam, Kovvur, Nidadavolu and other areas in the region for Rs 97 crore, sanctioned through the SASC-2024-25 (Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment) scheme by the Centre.
