Kadapa, Sept. 10 -- The Red Sanders Anti Smuggling Task Force personnel seized 9 red sander logs and arrested fire smugglers at SR Palem village of Rajampet forest area today.
DSP MD Sharif told the media that a task force team led by RSI C Vinod Kumar and RS Sai Giridhar conducted combing operations at the forest area.
They spotted some people carrying red sander logs. When the task force personnel were approaching them, the smugglers dumped the red sander logs behind the bushes and started fleeing. The task force personnel chased and apprehended five of them.
