Anakapalli (Andhra Pradesh), April 13 -- Eight workers died and six others injured in an explosion which took place in a firecrackers making unit at Kailasapatnam village in Kotauratla mandal of Anakapalli district on Sunday.
Police said that when the workers were making fire crackers, the explosive substance exploded accidentally following which eight workers died and six others injured.
The deceased workers were identified as Appikonda Tatabai (50), Sangarati Govind (45), Dadi Ramalakshmi (38), Devara Nirmala (36), Puram Papa (40), Gumpina Venubabu (40), Shenapalli Babu Rao (56) and Chadalavada Manohar (37).
