Guntur, Jan. 4 -- The Andhra Pradesh police have seized about 5 KGs of ganja and arrested 4 drug peddlers and 10 consumers at Pedakakani village in the district, an official said on Sunday.
Superintendent of police Vakul Jindal told the media here that a team led by Inspector TP Narayana Swamy conducted a raid on a house, located near the Primary Health Centre at the village. The drug peddlers tried to flee but they were chased and apprehended. On the information provided by them, the police nabbed 10 ganja consumers.
The main accused Mutyala Ramana Rao was involved in three ganja cases, one dacoity case in Mangalagiri rural police station limits and a burglary case in Suryaraopet PS limits in Vijayawada.
