Rayachoti, Nov. 25 -- The police arrested four members of a robbers gang, including a government employee, and recovered Rs 15 lakh worth booty at Thimmapuram cross at KV Palli village, near here today.
Additional Superintendent of Police M Venkatadri told the media that a police team arrested a notorious robber gang at Thimmapuram cross at KV Palli village today.
The four member gang committed many robberies and chain snatchings at Sambepalli, Kalakada, Kalikiri, Pileru, Gurramkonda and KV Palli villages. The gang robbed a cloth trader at knife point at an isolated area on the night of November 10 and he lodged a complaint with the police who registered the a case under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 137(1)(b), 309(4), 351(2), 3 r/w 5 BNS.
