Vijayawada, Sept. 19 -- The Jagan Mohan Reddy headed YSR Congress party has suffered another blow as three MLCs quit the party and joined the Telugu Desam party.
Three YSRCP MLCs, Marri Rajasekhar, Balli Kalyan Chakravarthi and Karri Padmasri, joined the TDP in the presence of its national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday in the CM's camp office at Undavalli near here. Naidu admitted them into the TDP by wrapping the TDP scarves around them.
TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao, MP Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu, MLAs Sunil, Vijayasri, Pulivarthi Nani, MLCs P Anuratha, P Rajasekhar, Alapati Rajendra Prasad and slew of TDP leaders were present.
