Vijayawada, Nov. 19 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Health Satya Kumar Yadav on Tuesday announced the setting up of 24 Critical Care Blocks (CCB) in the Government General Hospitals for Rs 600 crore.
Talking to the media here, the Health Minister said 13 CCBs would be established by the end of December, and the remaining 11 within August 2026 by spending altogether Rs 600 crore.
By establishing the 24 CCBs, 1,275 beds would be made available additionally, the Minister asserted.
The 24 CCBs were being established under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM ABHIM) in a phased manner.
