Vijayawada, Jan. 1 -- The Andhra Pradesh government will start distributing 21.80 lakh new pattadar passbooks to the land owners from January 9.
Addressing the media in the Secretariat at Amaravati, near here on Thursday, Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would participate in the distribution of new pattadar passbooks.
The Minister revealed that many reforms are being implemented in the registration department. The Collectors were given cancellation of fake registration documents, he said, warned of action against the double registration of lands.
